I made it a two venue night this sensational Saturday. First I stopped in at Cafe Zog for a few acoustic sets, first on the night was Ian Fitzgerald, right back in my neighborhood again:
Host of the night and songwriter in his own right, G.W. Mercure played a quick mid-set:
Ian Fitzgerald made a second appearance and played a few more songs for the crowd:
After the music concluded at Cafe Zog I hot-footed it down the street a ways to The Spot Underground and arrived toward the end of Strange Machine’s first set:
The party moved to the main stage for Dopapod‘s first set, a busy taper night so I set up above the back bar instead of the usual sound booth corner:
Strange Machines started right back up on the Den stage providing a great set-break set:
This evening’s party concluded with Dopapod‘s second set of the evening, they went on to play two more sets the following night:
