It was another Friday night adventure, and what an adventure at that! I started the night out at The Bucket Brewery for their Sound Check Series, this week featured two Massachusetts based acts, Joe Touchette III and The Van Burens.
I was lucky enough to win tickets for Joe Fletcher and the Wrong Reasons at Fete, for the very same night, during the traditional Bucket Brewery raffle.
Calling my brother to occupy the second ticket, I quickly vacated the brewery a bit before The Van Burens finished their set and high tailed it over to Fete for Joe’s set. After a few songs some security approached me and asked if I would put my camera away, so I was only able to capture three songs for the annals of history.
After Joe’s set I turned tail and went right back to Pawtucket to hit The Met for Fungus Amungus‘ set, my first time catching them in quite a while.
Shows at The Met tend to end a bit earlier than other venues in the area, after Fungus’ set I had plenty of time to head over to The Spot Underground for the last call and the last set of the evening, The Little Compton Band.
It was a fantastic and exhausting evening catching five acts at four venues in a matter of seven hours, PHEW!
