As many of you may know The Spot has always been a sponsor and well appreciated partner of Sully’s Cafe throughout the years. Since its infancy on Thayer Street, before I even launched this website, I made The Spot my home away from home. They’ve fostered the local and touring artists you’ve come to know and love, as well as, helped to establish Providence as the greatest musical foothold in the northeast. Over the years, and through the various locations, from Thayer to Elbow and Richmond to Pine Street, The Spot’s owners, staff, musicians, artists, regulars, and patrons have made everyone feel at home. That’s we call it The Spot Family, this Friday the Spot Family will bid us farewell (hopefully only for now) with an epic concert of mythic proportions featuring many of your favorite locals. Come to town to help us get down with the sounds that will spin you around and bring a smile to your face at the place we call call home, The Spot Underground.
