“Grand Opening and a Wrong Reason”
Sully and Josh are joined by singer songwriter Joe Fletcher for an interview and five song performance including four from “White Lighter” due out in September, “Ambulances,” “Say What You Will,” as well as “Front Porch” and one from “Bury Your Problems,” “Sentimental Jury.” Discussion of The Scene includes The Spot Underground‘s grand opening weekend featuring A*Live Fridays, where Spogga acts as a “Rockestra” conductor calling a myriad of musicians to the stage to interpret well know covers and a wealth of originals. Saturday’s official Grand Opening, featuring Vudu Bevy, The Conduits, Route .44, APOGEE, The Shane Manzi Band, and SAUCE! Fourth of July weekend audio fireworks are in full force with Providence overflowing with bands all weekend, culminating at Smith Hill’s Liberty Fest on Sunday.
CORRECTIONS: Since the podcast was recorded and released The Leah Carlson/Sauce show at Jerky’s has been moved to Firehouse 13 with Gravity Works headlining. Also, I received notice that the Bristol show I mentioned are actually two shows, Sauce July 3rd at JR Beans, and Fungus Amungus July 4th, also at JR Beans. – Sully
